After some time tinkering and fixing bugs, I am very pleased to release my latest game "Helios: The Defender" sponsored by PlayTowerDefenseGames.com.
It is a mixture of defense game with a new element thrown in...inverse kinematics. At first I started this game as a learning experience with kinematics and design patterns, but the game evolved into something much more complex and ended up obtained a sponsorship for it!
Now you can enjoy the result of my work by playing right here in newgrounds!

Yesterday I completed my game after a month a half of development. I did not step it up until the last two weeks though, as I was able to devote more time to it.
Now I am looking for sponsors and today I e-mailed close to 20 potential interested buyers. Also, I submitted my game to FlashGameLicense.com.
I am confident that I will be able to find one easy and fast enough. Though this is my first time dealing with flash sponsorship, I am excited about this opportunity.
As for now, the project is still not done as I still have the marketing to take care of. Soon enough I will upload the sponsored version of the game to Newgrounds.com for all its users to enjoy.
Peace...

Though I did some progress on the programming department, I mostly concentrated my efforts on the graphics. I consider myself more of a programmer than an animator though.
Here is an updated pic of the game.

After some dramatic changes in my personal life, I have started another game that I am looking forward to release on the upcoming month.
This time I am focusing into making the game more customizable and incorporating a repair, weapon sale, and money system.
I worked quite hard the first couple of weeks in brainstorming and creating the game's engine. Currently on the third week, I am incorporating more features.
This game will be a top-down space shooter but with some twists and turns.
It is still in its infancy in regards to development but I am working diligently for its release next month.
After what seemed like an eternity I have finally made the decision of releasing the contraption that I have worked on for countless of hours.
I hope you enjoy it and please tell me if I need to modify anything.
Cheers!
